We began the production of day-old broiler chicks back in 1996, using handmade incubators and some older machines. Over the years, we have continuously worked on introducing new technologies and acquiring newest incubators. The incubation of hatching eggs is a highly complex process that requires monitoring numerous parameters such as air temperature, eggshell temperature, CO2 levels, humidity, egg weight loss, egg turning, and ventilation. To remain competitive in the market, it is essential to produce top-quality chicks using high-end incubators. Most of our day-old broiler chicks are produced in incubators operating in SINGLE STAGE mode, which ensures excellent results during the broiler fattening phase.
Our hatchery uses PETERSIME brand incubators (www.petersime.com).
Currently, we operate in 4 hatchery stations:
- Glibovac Hatchery 1: 350,000 eggs in setters and 63,300 eggs in hatchers
- Glibovac Hatchery 2: 1,840,000 eggs in setters and 306,600 eggs in hatchers
- Lužnice Hatchery: 345,600 eggs in setters and 57,600 eggs in hatchers
- Božurnja Hatchery: 230,400 eggs in setters and 96,000 eggs in hatchers
On a weekly basis, we can incubate approximately 900,000 hatching eggs. We deliver the day-old chicks to our customers using our own vehicles, which are equipped with advanced heating and ventilation systems, ensuring safe transport regardless of external weather conditions. Proper chick transport is one of the key factors for successful broiler fattening. Our fleet can simultaneously accommodate and transport approximately 400,000 day-old chicks.
